Update 2010: DSE haven't stocked this kit for a long time now, though I believe Jaycar's KC5419 kit is very similar being based on the same Silicon Chip article Universal High Energy Ignition.

Since installing this kit, problems with fouled spark plugs and unreliability seem to have been cured and as an added bonus this is improved smoothness at idle and at speed and improved performance.

The key power transistor in this kit had to be replaced after it was damaged when the case filled with water.
